Soft Skills For Sales Professionals Vol.2

Soft Skills For Sales Professionals Vol.2

Description
In Sales, Soft Skills are those skills that help you exceed your sales targets, get you promoted and inspire others to follow your lead. We are all working on improving them even without thinking about it. Image how far you can get once you realize what you are doing and put together a plan to do it consciously.
After extensive research of current trends in soft skills demand and interviewing successful sales managers, I put together in a course the skills that I found to be indispensable for sales professionals.
How to take it?
You should take this course as a guide that can help you understand what soft-skills are and what skills you need to improve so you can reach the lifestyle you are dreaming about. It is not an in-depth training program, it simply points you in the right direction. This course follows a similar structure for all skills: definition, characteristics, the benefits of each skill and ways to improve.
My vision of Soft Skills categories
I have built my own system of Soft Skills categories as follows:
  • Personal or self, skills that comes from inside, related to your way of being, how others see you;
  • Thinking, skills that relate to your way of seeing the outside world, your thoughts;
  • Communication, skills that relates to the way you communicate with others;
  • Environment, skills that comes as a response to the outside world, how the environment push you into a direction and how you can push back;
  • Work related, skills that are in direct relation with your working environment;
Here, you will learn:
  • Work related soft skills: the steps and the benefits of collaboration with your coworkers and your customers;
  • Thinking: how to build up your positive thinking and why you should do that;
  • Communication: how to produce your Sales Pitch, how to use humor, become quick-witted and improve your negotiation soft skills;
  • Environment: how to influence your customers and build your network;
  • Self: how to improve your Time Management, adopt flexibility, develop courtesy and behave in a friendly manner.
This course is not for you if you are a successful, well-trained sales professional.
Who is the target audience?
  • People considering sales as a future career;
  • People working in sales and looking to increase their figures;
